Starting September 17th, 3 groups will be launching on campus at Refuge Church every Tuesday through November 19th. The three groups are:
A Deeper Walk Group
Do you often wonder why God feels distant? How do you actually have a relationship with God? This course, the foundation of growth and discipleship at Refuge, will take you on an all encompassing journey of what it means to give your life to God, hear from God, live for God, and really know God.
The Wounded Heart Group
The world wounds us, the devil lies to us, and then we vow never to let it happen again. But if we don’t learn how to process and deal appropriately with the wounds and the lies and the vows then we spend our life being controlled by them. The good news is that it doesn’t have to stay that way. Our group, Understanding the Wounded Heart, builds on biblical principles to help us acknowledge our wounded hearts, but also begin to trust God to heal our wounded hearts.
The Problem with Relationships Group
Are you married and need help? Single, but struggle in your relationships? Do you need help parenting or dealing with coworkers? For 10 weeks we will look at how God has designed us to be in relationships and how he has designed our brains to interact with one another. We will look at reasons we get frustrated and angry with others as well as ways to deal appropriately with that anger. We will look at the Bible and Brain Science and see that no matter what type of relationships you find yourself in there are pathways to Joy.
